Polaroid Snap Review

Can we just have a moment of silence for how cute this camera is? I originally spotted it at Target so I took a photo of it and did what any smart shopper would do, stalked it online before purchasing it. The camera boasted a four star rating on Amazon and since I had already fallen in love with how clean and modern it looked, I decided it needed to be mine. My local BestBuy carried it so I satisfied my need for instant gratification and got it from there.

I can appreciate the pretty packaging, way to go Polaroid!

My plan was to use it at my wedding and have some memorable photos to keep forever. That didn’t happen because the few photos I took weren’t that hot. I’m talking blurry, poor quality type stuff. I gave a few of the good ones I took away to wedding guests. Wedding polaroid mission aborted. I now plan to use it for fun, artsy photos. I know I need to have a steady hand when snapping and that daylight is needed for the best photo quality.

Would I recommend this camera? Yes, but I like the idea of receiving it as a gift rather than spending your own hard-earned money for it, LoL. Put it on your wish list!

The Polaroid Snap comes in four cute, retro colors.

The bottom line:

The camera is cute and I feel cool simply because I own one. The photo quality is decent at best. In order to get the best photos, take pictures outdoors and be super still. If you have $100 to spare and want a cool toy, the Polaroid Snap is for you. But please don’t expect DSLR quality photos.
