#WhatAlexWants: Items I’m dying to purchase!

Happy Monday!

I hope your weekend was filled with joy and all that good stuff. Over the weekend I went to the mall and made myself so proud. I did not buy one thing! If you follow my posts, you may remember I’m striving toward my own version of minimalism and I’m slowly but surely getting rid of unnecessary items I’ve acquired over the years. I will not purchase any clothing or beauty related items unless they are absolute necessities.

This minimalist mission I’m on does not stop the shopaholic in me from creating a wishlist. Below you’ll find a few items I will treat myself to (or pray that I receive as a gift) some time soon:

The Clarisonic Smart Profile retails for $265 and can be used to clean your face and body. If you know anything about Clarisonic, you know that it’s known for cleaning your face like no other. The beauty above is the only Clarisonic that can be used from your head to your toes and for some reason I’ve been lusting over it for a while. 

If you’ve never tried on a pair of FitFlops then you haven’t lived. They are the most comfortable shoes my feet have ever been exposed to. Like seriously, I never realized how much my feet hurt in other shoes until having these to compare them to. I’ve seen FitFlops from previous seasons on sale at Nordstrom Rack a few times but thought the sale price was steep at around $70. The ones above retail for $125 so the frugal part of me must become dormant so that I may partake in their gorgeousness. I’m going on a cruise in a few months and these would be perfect for it (size 6 in case you’d like to get me a gift).

Do these look familiar? If so it’s because they were in a previous blog post. I still haven’t found a spare $175 to spend on a pair of flats, but when I do…. It’s going down! These Tieks are everything to me and the color is to die for. I’ve been noticing that my love for high heels is diminishing as I value comfort over cuteness the older I get.

This is all I’m wishing for at the moment. I’ll be sure to save up and once I feel like I’ve done something worthy of a reward, one or more of these items will be mine. Is there anything on your wishlist that you can’t wait to buy?
